All Started at the Farmers Markets

Our Story

We’re Lexi and Ari, two local makers who spent years side by side at the farmers markets creating, selling and connecting with the community. Lexi is a longtime ceramic artist whose pottery can be found is shops around the Kona area. While Ari brings in a background of illustration, printmaking and screen printing.

Over the years we have we wanted to create a space beyond our individual businesses, a place that artists of different medias could work along side each other to teach, learn and feel apart of a creative community. The idea bringing to life Little Barn Studios.

Tucked away on a coffee farm in the hills of Holualoa, just minutes from downtown Kona, Little Barn Studios is housed in an old coffee mill barn that we’ve transformed into a welcoming and inspiring creative space.

Local artists and visiting creatives can gather for workshops, explore new crafts, rent studio space, share their skills and make meaningful connections. With the opportunity to hang out and enjoy our farm stand.

We believe creativity is better when it’s shared. Whether you live here on the big island or are visiting and looking for a unique experience, the doors are always open to anyone who wants to slow down, learn a new skill, connect and be apart of a growing creative community.m
